The Burn Guide is important by helping preserve your candle and insures the protection of your home. Make sure you follow all instructions on the burn guide.

 

I bet when you read our burn guide you never knew that you should trim your wick before every burn. You ever noticed the black ash around your candle jars when you burn a candle? That is called “ SOOT”. Soot happens when your candle has burned for 4 hours or more and you have not extinguished the candle and/or trimmed your wick.

 

With that being said a candle should not burn more than 4 hours at a time WITHOUT trimming your wick. You can burn your candle for extended time but make sure you trim your wick in between.

 

BASICALLY, just trim your wick. LOL

 

For our decorative candles: as they are designed to be decorative; however, if you do choose to light them please follow the burn guide. This also insures he protection of your furniture as the wax melts down and if candle is not placed in a secure dish will spill all over. No one wants ruined furniture.

 

As for wax melts having a wax burner is ESSENTIAL. These are pretty simple, as you break off a piece of the wax bar and place inside of wax burner. It is important to not over wax your wax burner cause if can spill and also ruin furniture.
