Burn Guide
HERE ARE 5 TIPS TO CARE FOR YOUR CANDLE
1. TRIM YOUR WICK
Before lighting, trim your wick to ¼”using either scissors or a wick trimmer. This ensures a clean safe burn and longevity for your candle. (Your wick has already been trimmed for your first burn).
2. THE BURN
It is very important that your first use of the candle you allow it to burn for at least 2-3 hours or until the wax has melted to the edge of the jar. (This prevents tunneling).
3. SAFETY FIRST
NEVER LEAVE YOUR CANDLE UNATTENDED. Please Do Not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep candle out of reach from children, pets, and anything that is flammable.
4. EXTINGUISHING
NEVER attempt to extinguish your candle(s) using water. Your wick will absorb the water and your candle will be ruined.
DO NOT burn your candle(s) if only 1/4 - 1/2 “wax remains. (If you light a candle without enough wax it can cause the jar to overheat and explode). Please make sure the flame is completely out and there is no remaining flame.
5. REUSE
Once the candle is finished, clean the jar. The wax is very soft; you can take a butter knife and get the remaining wax out. Boil water and fill the jar to get the wick and any wax residue out. Once cleaned you can use glass as you please.
FOR DECORATIVE CANDLES
Our bubble candles are essentially for home decor.
If you do choose to light your bubble candle, please place candle in a tray so that when the candle melts the wax does not spill and ruin your furniture.
NEVER LEAVE YOUR CANDLE UNATTENDED
This candle does not burn as your jar candles. Once the wick is finished you are able to break off remaining pieces of your bubble candle and place in a wax burner for more use.
SAFETY
Always read and follow the instructions provided and remove all packaging and decoration before lighting. We recommend that you do not handle or move a burning candle, allow the candle to cool first.
Keep your candle(s) stored away from sunlight and/or other sources of heat. Always store your candle in a cool, dark, dry place.
Never use water to extinguish a candle, this can cause the jar to break and wax to splash.
Never Fall Asleep with a lit candle.
